The review process for 3D designs on 3DSolidverse typically takes 1-5 business days. Our team works diligently to ensure a thorough evaluation, considering factors like design quality, adherence to guidelines, and overall suitability for the community.
It’s worth noting that the complexity and level of detail in your 3D design can impact the review duration. Generally, a well-polished and thoughtfully crafted 3D model is more likely to receive quicker approval from our team. We appreciate your dedication to delivering high-quality designs, and we’re committed to maintaining a balance between efficiency and a thorough evaluation. If you have any specific concerns or urgent requests, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team for assistance.
You can enhance the discoverability and visibility of your products by adding categories and tags to your 3D models. During the publishing process for a new 3D model or when editing an existing one on the My 3D Files page, simply fill in the ‘Category,’ ‘Tags,’ and ‘Custom Tags’ fields.
- Categories: All models are initially placed in the default ‘3D’ category. However, you can specify additional categories based on the industry your 3D model relates to and the file format or software it belongs to.
- Tags: They act as descriptive labels to enhance searchability. Tags cover various aspects, and our collection continues to grow based on user requests.
- Custom Tags: Add your own tags if you don’t find the one you are looking for. Our team will review if your tags fit. If so, they will be added to your 3D.
If your 3D design didn’t meet our approval criteria, it might be due to various reasons, such as:
- Quality Standards: We maintain high-quality standards to ensure a positive user experience. If your design doesn’t meet these standards, it might be declined.
- Adherence to Guidelines: Check if your design aligns with our community guidelines and platform policies. Deviations from these guidelines could result in rejection.
- Completeness: Ensure that all required information, such as title, description, and relevant details, is provided. Incomplete submissions might face rejection.
- Originality: We encourage original creations. If your design appears to be a duplicate or infringes on intellectual property, it might be rejected.
- Respectful Content: Designs promoting hate speech, violence, or inappropriate content will not be accepted.
If your 3D design was rejected and you’re unsure why, feel free to contact our support team. They’ll be happy to provide specific feedback and guide you on how to enhance your design for resubmission.
Yes, you can manage the visibility of your published 3D models from the My 3D files section in your personal Dashboard by editing the desired file. The visibility options include:
Visible: When a product is set to “Visible,” it is available for users to view and purchase in your profile. These products will appear on your profile page and in search results if users perform a related search. Additionally, visible products will be displayed on the category page if they are assigned to a category.
Catalog: Products configured as “Catalog” are visible on your profile page and category pages if assigned to a category but won’t appear in search results. This means users won’t find these products through the main searchbar.
Search: Products set as “Search” are available for users to find through the searchbar but won’t appear on your profile page or category pages. This can be useful if you want to hide products on your profile page but still allow users to find them through specific searches.
Hidden: When a product is set to “Hidden,” it won’t be displayed on your profile page, category pages, or in search results. This means the product is practically invisible to users unless they have the direct link to the product.
